DUBLIN: A jury found that Conor McGregor assaulted a lady in Dublin, Ireland, in 2018 and ordered the mixed martial arts (MMA) star to pay the victim 250,000 euros ($259,950) in damages.

After hours of deliberation, the jury—which consisted of four men and eight women—came to the conclusion in the civil trial held at Ireland's top court.


                     

Nikita Hand, the complainant, claimed that on December 9, 2018, Irish fighter McGregor sexually attacked her at a partyDuring the two weeks of evidence the court heard that another man  James Lawrence did the same thing.

After leaving the court amid a flurry of reporters without saying anything, McGregor said on X that he intended to appeal the ruling.
McGregor, 36, refuted the accusation and claimed to have engaged in fully consenting sexual relations.
Using the Hand Additionally, he denied that he had bruised the complainant.
