Former Jets pass rusher Mark Gastineau confronts Brett Favre about their contentious NFL sack record grudge, saying, "You hurt me."

Mark Gastineau, a former pass rusher
for the New York Jets, claims that Brett Favre "hurt" him when he
confronted the Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback on their contentious NFLsack record dispute.
With 22 Sacks in a Season in 1984 Gastineau set the record. However, New York
Giants great Michael Strahan broke the record with 22.5 yards in the waningminutes of the 2001 season finale, when he was credited with sacking then GreenBay Packers quarterback Favre.

attributed to Strahan, who fell to the ground in
celebration, even inviting Favre to
join him in celebrating.
In a social media video advertising the network's upcoming 30 for 30 program,
"The New York Sack Exchange," Gastineau confronted Favre about theincident at a memorabilia show in 2023, despite the fact that he was presentand praised Strahan at the time.
When Favre Tries To Shake Gastineau's
